The Southern Nevada Senior Law Program provides free legal services to individuals who are 60 years of age are older. In order to qualify for our services, such seniors must also live in Clark County, Nevada. There are no income restrictions for receiving free legal assistance at the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program; however, the majority of our clients have incomes below the federal poverty level.

We assist these vulnerable seniors with a variety of legal challenges. For example:

  • The 84 year old woman whose 88 year old spouse was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. She needs a medical Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare Decisions and simple Will.
  • The 62 year old Social Security recipient whose check stopped due to an overpayment when he took a part-time job to make ends meet.
  • The 75 year old who wants to prepare a Beneficiary Deed to avoid probate.
  • The 81 year old widow whose daughter drained her bank account.
