SNSLP is currently accepting applications for Lead Intake Specialist. This is a 38 hours per week, full-time, FLSA exempt position supporting the operation of a nonprofit legal assistance law firm serving senior clients, with a staff of four attorneys.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervision of two or more intake specialists; responding to incoming calls and email requests for information and/or attorney appointments, scheduling appointments; greeting and assisting clients in person; opening and closing client files; entering accurate case notes into the case management system; supporting attorneys in serving clients by making copies, providing notarization of documents; extracting, compiling, and inputting reporting data utilizing client Intake forms, the case management system, attorney closing forms, and other resources to create and provide reports as requested for grant applications and other management needs. This position is primarily responsible for case management process and software application.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of supervisory experience and three years of administrative or customer service experience. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, case management software, excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as an eagerness to engage with the senior community are key to this position. Bilingual candidates highly encouraged.
Southern Nevada Senior Law Program (SNSLP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit legal assistance provider serving seniors aged 60 and older in Southern Nevada. Established in 1978, SNSLP has helped more than 125,000 seniors receive no-cost, quality legal assistance to protect their rights and help them with the challenges of aging. Our office is based in Las Vegas and has a staffing model of four staff attorneys, a Managing Attorney, legal support staff, client intake and administrative staff, along with an Executive Director. Some of the areas of law we focus on assisting our senior clients with are: Durable Powers of Attorney for Healthcare and for Financial Matters, Wills and/or Simple Estate Plans, Prevention of Elder Abuse and Exploitation, Avoidance of Scams and Response to being a Victim of Fraud, Public Entitlements such as Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid, Landlord/Tenant Issues, Evictions, Foreclosures and Habitability Issues. SNSLP has a Monday – Thursday, 7am-5pm, workweek and a competitive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $38,000 to $51,000 annually.
