Carlene Gaydosh

Carlene Gaydosh, a Certified Public Accountant, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) joined Danielson Financial Group in January 2013 as an LPL Registered Client Relationship Manager.

Prior to joining Danielson Financial Group, Carlene was a vice president and investment advisor with a local Registered Investment Advisory firm where she worked with individuals, not-for-profits, and employee benefit plans. From 2002 Carlene was the co-owner of Thorne & Gaydosh CPAs in Henderson that merged with Kafoury, Armstrong and remained there until 2011.

Her tenure of professional experience working with families in the areas of taxation and estate planning also offered clients the benefit of seamless execution of tax-efficient strategies and plan coordination with their accounting and legal professionals. She has assisted families to establish investment goals, implemented tailored investment plans, and monitored investment performance. Her accounting, tax, analytical experience, and training evolved into working with divorcing individuals, estates, and surviving spouses with their legal counsel to devise financial solutions. These services often included financial forensic research and expert testimony.

As a client advocate spanning over thirty years in Las Vegas, she places a high priority on working with a firm where its advisers provide independent investment advice with objectivity, ethics, and integrity. That is why joining forces with Deborah Danielson, CFP®, MSFS, was a natural fit. Carlene has achieved the requisite investment fiduciary experience and formal training as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation. These are fiduciary professional designations from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. Investment stewards benefit from these prudent practices including guidance on all aspects of investment management, including asset allocation, fund evaluation, and selection, performance monitoring, reporting, governance, and compliance.

Carlene earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with an emphasis in accounting. In furthering her expertise she acquired several designations in the areas of forensic accounting and business valuations. Professional activities include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, past elected Member of Council for Nevada, and past Director for the Nevada State Society of CPAs. She holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through LPL Financial.

As an LPL Registered Client Relationship Manager, her duties include managing client relationships, gathering documentation to assist the advisors in client portfolio reviews, information gathering to help advisors in their completion of comprehensive financial plans, investment research, assisting advisors in the development of investment portfolios, provide advisor assistant with tax-loss harvesting strategies and maintaining relationships with investment partners.

Beyond being active in professional and community organizations, Carlene dedicates her time and attention to her family. They all love to cheer on their favorite sports teams from the Lakers, Broncos, and Cowboys to the Vegas Golden Knights and there is never a dull moment when one of the games is on. They are a lively sports-minded family that skis, travels, and cooks together – a passion for fun and food usually prevails at any family gathering.

Left double quote
Some so-called professionals are more interested in getting a new luxury car than taking care of their clients’ welfare. I have resided in Las Vegas since 1958 and feel that the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program is one place seniors can depend on. Their attorneys take care of our legal needs or guide us with the right information. Thank you for all of your help, and with gratitude I say great job.
