Southern Nevada Senior Law Program welcomes Dr. Brittnie Watkins to its Board of Directors

Las Vegas, NV – Today, Southern Nevada Senior Law Program (SLP) announced the appointment of Dr. Brittnie Watkins, Chief Compliance Officer at Boyd Gaming Corporation and former Chair of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, to its Board of Directors.

Watkins brings a rare combination of legal experience and community advocacy. A former litigation partner at Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers, she also clerked for Nevada Supreme Court Justice Michael Douglas (Ret) and has given countless hours to pro bono service and community advocacy. She earned her J.D. and Ph.D. simultaneously and holds an LL.M in Gaming Law from William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
