LAS VEGAS, NV – Southern Nevada Senior Law Program (SLP) is pleased to announce that it received a pledge from Bailey Kennedy, LLP of $25,000 over the course of the next five years, becoming the first Senior Advocates Sustaining Supporter for its Senior Advocates Pro Bono Program. The Senior Advocates Program launched in October 2021 in an effort to expand the capacity of SLP in meeting the high volume of needs of vulnerable seniors and has grown to over 30 caring pro bono attorney volunteers.

Senior Law Program celebrates our first pro bono attorney led Power of Attorney Healthcare/Advance Directive clinic. Thank you Lynn Hughes, Esq.! An appreciative group of seniors participated in this event today, which was also supported by Lorrie Haug, Esq. who recently retired but continues to help us and the seniors who need us by volunteering with SLP.

In celebration of Juneteenth, SLP would like to recognize and thank our community partner, Wendell Blaylock, for sharing the story of the Tuskegee Airmen with us and with CCSD schools.

Southern Nevada SLP received this beautiful cake from a grateful and gracious client who values the estate planning and consumer assistance she has received while working with Attorney Chelsea Crowton, paralegal Carmen Bann, and legal assistant Cindy LaSpaluto.
