SLP Sponsors and Celebrates Success at the Ándale 5K!

The Southern Nevada Senior Law Program (SLP) was thrilled to sponsor and participate in the fifth annual Ándale 5K, hosted by the Nevada Latino Bar Association on September 28, 2024. This event brought together runners, walkers, and community supporters to raise scholarship funds for future Latino law students and strengthen ties within our

vibrant community.

SLP was honored to receive recognition for having the fourth-largest running team this year, thanks to the incredible efforts of our team, led by Adilene Plancarte. A special shoutout goes to our medal-winning runners, Mariteresa Rivera-Rogers and Jeff Arlitz, for their outstanding performances.

Participating in the Ándale 5K is about more than crossing the finish line—it’s about coming together to champion education, health, and advocacy within the Hispanic community. Events like these align perfectly with SLP’s mission to provide free legal services to vulnerable seniors, ensuring they have access to the support and resources they need to thrive.

We are deeply grateful to the Nevada Latino Bar Association for organizing such a meaningful event and for their continued support of SLP.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to their bilingual attorneys who volunteer with SLP, providing special support to our Hispanic seniors and making a lasting difference in their lives.
